Plasma Dialer 24.08 is out

After a long wait, Plasma Dialer 24.08 is finally out. This released is based
on Qt6 and contains 17 months of bug fixing as well as small
improvements all other the place.

We have been busy these past two months!
The last version of Plasma 5 was released in February, and so development work has shifted toward Plasma 6. This involves porting from Qt5 and KDE Frameworks 5 to Qt6 and KDE Frameworks 6. As a result, development is quite chaotic right now, but we are hard at work!

The Plasma Mobile team is happy to announce the result of all the project's development work carried out in September and November of 2022.
Plasma Mobile Gear
We have decided to migrate the releases of Plasma Mobile applications to KDE Gear, starting with KDE Gear 23.04. This means that Plasma Mobile Gear will be discontinued in the future, and Plasma Mobile applications will follow the release schedule of most other KDE applications, simplifying packaging. To prepare for this, an ongoing effort was made to ensure all applications have proper Bugzilla categories created.

Website Overhaul
Devin worked on the website and updated the homepage design, site pages, content style, as well as the screenshots page. He also created some developer documentation pages, useful for helping onboard new contributors to the Plasma stack and tools.
